Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi's Faculty of Social Sciences Conducts Academic and Research Benchmarking in Malaysia and Thailand
The Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI), undertook an academic and research benchmarking trip to Malaysia and Thailand from November 20-22, 2024. This initiative aimed to enhance education quality and research through collaborations with prominent ASEAN universities.
Led by Dean Rizki Hegia Sampurna, Ph.D., the FIS delegation, comprising Forum of Deans of Social and Political Sciences Faculties of Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah Institutions (PTMA),
visited three universities Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Songkla, Thailand (Nov 20), signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for research and education cooperation with Dean Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, University Muhammadiyah Malaysia (UMAM) (Nov 21),
receiving a warm welcome from the Rector, Management and Science University (MSU), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Nov 22), meeting Dean Associate Prof. Dr. Nurul Asyikeen from Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP).
The visit culminated in FSS UMMI's commitment to actively participate in FBMP's International Colloquium.
