On Thursday, October 3, 2023, the Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS), Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI), hosted its annual welcoming event for new students, known as Masa Taaruf dan Keakraban (Mastaka) FIS UMMI. Held at the Barchoya Mansur Building courtyard, the opening ceremony was attended by:

6. New students

The program commenced with an opening ceremony led by Dean Rizki Hegia Sampurna, Ph.D., who introduced the Faculty of Social Sciences, highlighting its excellence and five flagship programs.

Subsequent presentations covered various aspects, including:

1. Technical services by Intan Purwati (Academic and Student Affairs) and Fitri Adistiani Efendi (General Affairs, Personnel, and Finance).
2. Insights from faculty members, staff, alumni and external guests.
